OS X 10.10.1 to 10.10.3 (Yosemite) do not allow us to enable/disable TRIM function via a third-party tool. Will this affect the SSD performance?

The SSD will not delete the data immediately after the host has deleted the file.

When TRIM command enabled, the SSD controller will inform the flash to delete the data immediately when the SSD is idling.

Transcend SSD utilizes the garbage collection algorithm to help manage data and maintain peak performance even if the OS does not support TRIM function.
